![]() ![]() Two of the most recent additions to the Grand Carrera collection showcase some of TAG Heuer’s newest innovations. The Mikrograph was invented in 1916, and at the time, it was the world’s most accurate stopwatch, measuring time to 1/100th of a second. In addition to drawing inspiration from the original Carrera, the Grand Carrera collection pays homage to one of the brand’s earliest stopwatches, the Mikograph. The RS not only adds an additional function to the watch but also adds an interesting element to the aesthetic. It’s situated on the dial at the six-o’clock position. This unique attribute is inspired by the engine design of GT race cars. The brand created an innovative Rotating System disc, abbreviated RS, which has become the trademark of the collection. The most notable feature of the models in the Grand Carrera line is TAG Heuer’s all-new mechanical time display. However, the Grand Carrera collection serves as an upgraded version with some of TAG Heuer’s latest technology. Its design takes from the original Carrera’s bold, sporty look. As the name indicates, the line draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic Carrera. The first model debuted in 2007 after four years of research and development. The Grand Carrera collection is one of the newer additions to the TAG Heuer family of watches. ![]()
